Homeschool Skate Sessions for January 2026

January 2026 Family Night Session
There will only be one Family Night Session for January. That will be on Thursday, January 15th, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Organ Night w/ Live Organ Music
Sunday, February 8th. Please note that the time will be changing to 5 pm to 8 pm for this session and future Organ Night sessions!

Rule Updates for 2026
One of our rules has always been that no outside food or drinks are permitted in the building. This includes snacks, fast food, coffee, energy drinks, reusable drink containers, and more.
Beginning in January 2026, we will implement a new policy regarding bags and purses on the rink floor. To enhance safety, we are prohibiting all bags and purses from being taken onto the rink. This decision is in response to instances where guests have brought outside food or drinks in addition to those purchased at the rink’s concession onto the rink floor, resulting in spills and creating wet spots on the floor. These conditions pose a significant safety risk, as they can lead to slips and falls for both skaters and non-skaters. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone.
These rules will be in effect for guests attending private parties.
We understand accidents happen. If you see something on the floor, whether it be a spill of drinks or food, NOTIFY A STAFF MEMBER IMMEDIATELY!
Coming February 2026
Price increase! Admission prices will increase by $1 for all skaters and non-skaters. Skate and Blade rentals will remain at $5.
With the price of operating the rink going up, we need to help offset that cost with this small price increase. We thank you for your understanding and appreciate your support of Mt Gretna Roller Rink!
Concession prices will not be changed. *Reminder that concession is cash only.
Our Punch Cards are great for individuals and families who regularly visit the rink. Functioning similar to a gift card, each Punch Card provides access to 10 skating sessions and is valid for the entire calendar year. Each card allows for 10 entries to the rink, with you paying for only 9 sessions!
When purchasing the cards, you have 10 sessions that can be used for one single person or share the card between family members or friends when entering the rink!
Please note that these cards must be purchased in person at the rink and do not include skate rentals.
New this year are Punch Cards specifically for our Homeschool Skate Sessions!
If you purchase a card for Friday or Saturday evening skate sessions, you can use your card on any Friday or Saturday evening. Cards for Saturday or Sunday afternoon sessions, you can use your card at any Saturday or Sunday Afternoon session.
Public Skate Sessions
Held year-round
Sunday Afternoons from 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm. $6 admission for skaters plus skate rental. $3 admission for non-skaters
Friday and Saturday Evenings from 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm with $8 admission for skaters plus skate rental. $4 admission for no skaters
1st and 3rd Thursday of every month is Family Night from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm with $4 admission for skaters plus skate rental if needed. $2 admission for non-skaters.
The 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month are our Homeschool Skates from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Admission is $3 plus skate rental if needed. Non-skaters are free. This is for any family with children who are homeschooling or enrolled in a cyber school program, and can be used toward PE requirements.
Seasonal Public Skate Sessions
These sessions are held September through May (subject to change according to outside temperature)
Saturday Afternoons, 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm, with $6 admission plus skate rental (if needed). $3 admission for non-skaters
Please note a time change starting in February 2026! Join us for Organ Night on the 2nd Sunday of every month from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Admission is $8 for skaters, plus rental fees if needed. Non-skaters can enter for $4.
All roller skate or roller blade rentals are $5
Children under the age of 12 are not permitted inside the building without a parent, guardian, or responsible adult who is at least 18 years old. Additionally, the adult must complete the liability waiver for the rink for both themselves and the child.
